Semiahmoo Family Place will host a thank-you party for Panorama Ridge Secondary students and Westland Insurance – who donated more than $6,000 to the organization – Oct. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The money has been used to purchase new toys for the family resource centre’s semi-structured programming, as well as a new commercial-grade bouncy castle for its Semiahmoo Party Space.
The party will also celebrate the non-profit’s successful fall membership drive, made possible by a grant from Soroptimist International of White Rock, in which members can drop in unlimited times for free.
Semiahmoo Family Place is a non-profit, community-based organization that offers a safe, fun and healthy environment for children up to age 10 to play, while their parents or caregivers have the chance to network, support and learn from each other.
