The deadline for aspiring teen writers to enter Surrey Public Library’s Young Adult Writing Contest is fast-approaching.
Interested youth have until Monday, Aug. 10 to finish and submit a short story, poem or comic for a chance at cash prizes.
The contest is open to writers aged 12 to 18 years. The cost to enter is $3 per submission. Prizes will be awarded in each category and age group.
Entry rules and forms are available at any branch of Surrey Public Library or online, at www.spl.surrey.bc.ca
