Organizers of a diabetes fundraiser this weekend are inviting participants, sponsors, donors and volunteers to take part.
Cash Store Financial's Freedom Run takes place July 18 at the White Rock Running Room, at Southpoint on 32 Avenue in South Surrey.
The event – including 3km, 5km and 10km walk/runs and activities for children – starts at 10 a.m., with registration from 8:30.
All proceeds go to diabetes research.
