Simon Fraser University undergrads are reaping choice awards at home and abroad.
Last month, Surrey’s Tim Coleman was among three students to take top spot in the L’Oreal E-strat online business competition.
Coleman, with Helen Lu and Jessica Wang, beat out 40,000 students competing in teams from universities worldwide. They had to prove their merit at managing a virtual portfolio of cosmetic brands.
The trio beat both the North American and Australian teams to take the regional prize: an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris, France to compete in the international finals. Top marks there scored them a trip to the destination of their choice, a prize valued at $16,600.
