The solid start to the season continues for the Langley Rugby Club.

Both the club’s First and Second Division teams sit at 7-1 respectively following last weekend’s victories over the Scribes Rugby Club.

In First Division action, Noel Mayer scored two tries, while Jon Bright and Stu Morrison had one apiece in a 32-12 victory.

Patrick Vaydo added three converts and two penalty kicks.

And in the Second Division game, the Scribes struck first with a penalty kick, but from that point on, it was all Langley as they scored the game’s final 24 points.

Corey Taillefer and Ryan Angeltvedt had one try apiece, while Gary Ewasiuk scored twice. He also successfully converted two of the four tries.
