The Langley Eagles came up one game short, falling 4-2 in the championship final against Campbell River. The two teams squared off for the gold two weeks ago at a peewee AAA hockey tournament in Comox.
The loss was the lone blemish for the Eagles. The team shut-out the hosts 10-0, beat Oceanside 5-3 and then downed Cowichan Valley 6-2.
In the semifinals, the team again came out with a strong defensive effort, earning their second shutout, this time 4-0 over Juan de Fuca
