Giants ground Hawks
Valley West Hawks’ Tyler Basham (white) shovels the puck on Vancouver Northwest Giants’ goalie Charlie Finn during major midget hockey action at the George Preston Recreation Centre. The visiting Giants won a pair of games, both by the score of 5-3, against the host Hawks. Austin Plevy scored twice in Sunday’s defeat for the Hawks while Mitchell Guiel tallied twice in Saturday’s game.
