A three-goal explosion in the second period helped the Aldergrove Kodiaks ground the Delta Ice Hawks.
The Kodiaks scored three times in under 10 minutes to break open a 3-3 game on Wednesday night at the Aldergrove Arena.
The end result was a 6-4 victory in Pacific International Junior Hockey League junior B action.
Keegan Bruce led the Aldergrove attack with three goals, while Thomas Hardy had three assists.
Colton Precourt, Eric McEwan and Adam Rossignol had the other Kodiak goals while Evan Thomas made 37 saves.
The win improved Aldergrove to a league-best 11-2.
