With some local businesses already on board, the call is going out for more to join the cause in helping one of Langley’s top local equestrian riders.
Cassandra Kahle, 17, is competing in New York at the end of the month and then in Toronto next month.
But with her present horse and sponsor unavailable, Kahle is hoping to raise funds to help off-set the costs of using a borrowed horse.
Kahle will be in New York for the prestigious National Horse Show MaClay Finals, where she is just one of two Canadians in the field.
And then next month, it is off to the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, where she will compete for B.C. An account for Cassandra has been set up at the Aldergrove Credit Union.
