Bandits' special teams shine in win

Special teams were truly special for the Langley Bandits.
The flag football team rode some outstanding special teams to a 15-13 last-minute victory over the Cloverdale Pumas on Sunday at City Park.
While Cloverdale was successful in putting together multi-play drives, the Langley attack was centred around some great return yardage, as special teams accounted for all of the Bandit scores, except for the first, which was a 35-yard rushing touchdown from Ben Charbonneau.
Jack Laurin was a terror all game, using some outstanding blocking from Logan Knight, Isaac Barton, Jovan Kheleh and Ashton Hawkins to score on one play, and then having Kurt McCormick, Dayton Boutilier and Joel Paulogonas open up another giant hole for the return game to score.
