Langley’s Shayla McRae and Cassidy Irwin helped the Abbotsford Outlaws 95 finish second at the Western World Youth Softball Series in Everett over the weekend.
The Outlaws, a peewee girls’ fastpitch team, won eight of their 10 games over the five-day tournament, which featured teams from across the western United States and B.C.
The week prior to this event, the Outlaws also captured the B.C. provincial championship crown.
