Spencer Landsiedel and James Sleighthome teamed up to capture the gold medal in the U23 B pair final.
The pair, who are members of the University of the Fraser Valley rowing team and the Fort Langley Rowing Club, were competing at the annual B.C. championships/Challenge West regatta.
The event was held over the weekend at Elk Lake, just north of Victoria.
Landsiedel and Sleighthome crossed the finish line 21 seconds ahead of their nearest competitor.
Courtenay Landsiedel also captured the gold medal, winning the U23 race.
