Triathlon was well run

Editor: The Walnut Grove Triathlon (Aug. 9) was a great display of organization, professionalism, and co-ordination.

I thought (the organizers) likely had run this event for many years so well-done were arrangements for traffic, athlete care,  course marking, and such.

Please convey to all the volunteers my admiration for their work and dedication to safety. Great job, all.

I hope the event brought (and brings) many new customers to your store.

I hope, too, the team can take a bit of a break.

I know the run up to and running of the event comes with personal, professional, and relational costs.

Again, ‘thank you’ for a job well done, and memorable day for this athlete.
