Decision shows lack of courage
Published: July 03, 2008 5:00 PMEditor: It was so predictable for Alison McVeigh to be running for a Township school trustee position.
Her gibberish about running in the Township is trying to camouflage her total lack of courage to run in the City, and face the voters for her incompetent decision to close Stafford as a high school.
She is clearly more interested in being re-elected than demonstrating any leadership. There is no leadership or problem solving when you decide to close a school that is so critical to a community, as was Stafford.
This November, I certainly hope that the Township voters will extend the City voters’ message and their own to Alison McVeigh — not interested.
