An 11-lot subdivision in the Routley Neighbourhood of Willoughby has been unanimously approved by Langley Township council.

Don and Wendy Lee and Lewis and Kim Roscher applied for rezoning on two non-adjacent lots 0.61 at 19921 68 Ave. and 19894 73A Ave., to create 11 single-family lots, in total.

The Routley Neighbourhood Plan designates the 73A Avenue lot as residential infill, in recognition of the larger homes, and to encourage innovative development to preserve the existing homes.

The development permit, also unanimously approved, varies the front yard setback on one lot, to allow retention and enhancement of the existing home.

The development complies with the Willoughby Community plan.
