Police track wanted man

Langley RCMP are looking for Daniel Christopher Roberds, 20, who has a warrant out for his arrest.

Roberds is wanted for several offences in both Langley and Surrey including assaulting a police officer, assault, occupying a vehicle with a firearm and failing to appear in court.

The Surrey resident is 6’3” tall, 186 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

The original offence took place in August 2007 when police received a report of shots fired in the area of 16 Avenue and 200 Street. Police were able to respond quickly and locate the vehicle described to them a short distance away. Two men, including Roberds were arrested and had two pellet rifles in their possession, said police.
