Christmas Bureau opens for season on Nov. 2

The Langley Christmas Bureau is getting set to open its doors once again for the upcoming holiday season.
On Nov. 2 the Bureau, which has served Langley for 36 years, will begin accepting applications from eligible clients.
To qualify for assistance from the Christmas Bureau, applicants must:
• be residents of the City or Township;
• have children from newborn to Grade 12;
• have Care Cards for each eligible member of the family;
• have two pieces of identification bearing a current Langley address (ie. driver’s licence, utility bills);
• have not applied to other agencies for food hampers/toys.
To apply, come in person to either the Langley office, at 20560 Fraser Hwy or, in Aldergrove, to the Horse Council of B.C. office, located at 101B-27336 Fraser Hwy.
Hours of operation in Langley City are Monday to Friday, from10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In Aldergrove, the Bureau will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Applications will be accepted from Nov. 2 to Dec. 16.
