Willoughy Elementary was locked down for most of Thursday morning, after an anonymous report came in to police about men with guns in the area.
"We locked down the school as a precautionary step," said Cpl. Holly Marks.
Numerous officers descended on the area, searching around a home near the Willoughby Market at 208 Street and 72 Avenue. Police lifted the lock down after noon, and they couldn't find evidence of the men with guns, she said.
