Teen collared for violent robbery

On Thursday, Langley RCMP’s serious crime section arrested a 17-year-old Surrey boy in relation to a violent armed robbery at Creative Jewellers on Aug. 10.
Two teens entered the store, one with pepper spray, one with a hammer. One of the boys pepper sprayed a couple of the employees while the other smashed jewelry cases, stealing a considerable amount of jewellery, said police.
Langley Mounties are now looking for the second suspect.
