The public has heard pot activists fight against prohibition, and now there is the chance to hear from law enforcers on the front lines of the ‘war on drugs’ who want all drugs to be legalized.

Tony Smith from Law Enforcement Against Prohibition will speak out against the U.S. ‘war on drugs’ at the Rotary Club of Langley’s next evening meeting on Thursday, July 23 at the Coast Hotel.

If you want to hear why these law enforcement professionals think all drugs should be legalized, you can attend the meeting at 6:15 p.m. on July 23. Cost is $22 and includes a full buffet dinner. Reserve your place by responding to langleyrotary@telus.net.The Rotary Club had earlier heard from criminologist Daryl Plecas on the drug issue.
