A street to somewhere

NewRoadconnector.jpg
This picturesque view of the 203 Street connector between the Willowbrook commercial area amd Township municipal hall at the bottom of the hill, and the burgeoning Willoughby residential area along the hillside and above, shows how Langley has changed. The road replaces the formerly steep 203 Street that ended at 68 Avenue. It winds onto 202B Street. Improvements that are just being completed at 72 Avenue link the connector road to 202A Street, which takes people directly to Mountain Secondary and the new Langley Events Centre. No longer are awkward left and right turns needed to access the various streets along the route. Traffic lights are in place at 65, 66 and 68 Avenues and a new light at 72 Avenue will soon be operational. The road, which begins at 62 Avenue and ends at 80 Avenue, is becoming a major north-south link, along with 200 Street and the 204/208 Street connector.
