A man was assaulted and then robbed at Brydon Park on Canada Day morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., Langley RCMP were called by the victim to the park near 197 Street and 53 Avenue.
He said he was encountered by two white men in their 20s, wearing bandanas over their faces, demanding money.
While the victim was retrieving money from his wallet, one of the suspects stole it from him.
The suspects then fled on foot. When the victim returned to his vehicle, he found that several items had been stolen out of his car, which had been left unlocked.
Police dogs were used but they weren’t able to locate the suspects.
Both suspects are described as Caucasian, 6’ tall, around 200 pounds, with short brown hair. The first suspect was wearing a red sports jersey and the second was wearing a black sports jersey.
