The man accused in the road rage death of Silas O’Brien will not appear in court again until November, when he finds out when his trial begins.

Brent Parent’s lawyer made a brief court appearance for him on Friday in Surrey Provincial Court. Parent, 40, who has been free on bail, is charged with criminal negligence causing death, leaving the scene of an accident and more.

O’Brien was killed on 16 Avenue in March, 2008 after being hit by a truck in a suspected road rage incident.
