Shoebox charity a perfect fit

Just like finding an amazing pair of shoes, Ingledew’s is truly the perfect fit for this year’s Operation Christmas Child.
Ingledew’s, in Willowbrook Shopping Centre, will be a shoe box pick up and drop off location for the Samaritan’s Purse annual fundraiser.
With the loss of Canada Safeway stores as drop off locations, Ingledew’s Shoes has stepped up to the plate.
Empty and recycled shoe boxes can be picked up at any Ingledew’s location now until Nov. 20. Filled shoe boxes can be dropped off until Nov. 22.
”It’s a perfect fit,” says Bill Ingledew.
“We are thrilled to be part of this program which will bring smiles to so many children’s faces.”
Operation Christmas Child is a fun annual event organized by Samaritan’s Purse.
People interested in helping needy children from all over the world can come into Ingledew’s, pick up a shoe box and fill it with toys, school supplies and other fun things.
To fill a box, pick a boy or a girl and which age group, then fill it with age-related school supplies, picture books, toys or other gifts, hygiene items like soap in a sealable bag and a personal note.
Those shoe boxes will reach children in need just in time for Christmas.
