Butter lettuce, bright orange carrots, home-made jams, apple butter, fresh herbs, pickles and honey can all be yours at opening day of Langley’s first Community Farmers Market on Wednesday, (today) starting at 4 p.m. at the parking lot of Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Everything grown, baked and made can be found at the market that will be open every Wednesday until the end of October.
With more than 25 farmers, growers and artisans committed, this will be something never offered in Langley up until now.
The farmers market will be located at the Glover Road entrance to the university.
