As the Murrayville Performers are set to stage their first major production, they have a very important question to ask:

What do a plunger, a very large needle and a pirate have to do with an aging couple?

Come and find out during an evening of entertainment, beginning with the one-act play “A Simple Diagnosis,” followed by musical entertainment featuring the talents of Ron May and Diane Gendron.

It happens Sept. 24 and 25 and Oct. 2 and 3 at the Senior’s Resource Centre, 20605 51B Ave. Tickets are $12 each.  Call 604-514-0942 for ticket information.

The MVPs have cast some of Langley’s most talented actors to perform the play, written by Ron May who was voted Langley’s Senior Idol for 2009.  Ron plays the part of Grump in the play, along with Diane Gendron as his long-suffering wife, Ethyl.

Rounding out the cast are Kate (Cuvelier) Major, playing Grump’s sister Belinda, Dan Tribe as Bryce Bittersweet, Belinda’s boyfriend, and Sherry Baker as the visiting physician, Sam Newell.
