River Runs
The 16-member Fort Langley Artists Group (FLAG) presents their final show of the season, Rivers of the Valley, at the Flagstop Gallery in the Heritage CN Train Station (on the corner of Glover Road and Mavis Avenue, in Fort Langley). The gallery is hosted by at least one artist and open Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays from noon to 4 p.m. The exhibit runs from Saturday, Aug. 1, to Monday, Sept. 7.
Fish ’n Falls
Do you have an interest in art and the environment? Youth ages 11 and up are invited to join creative artist Rosemary Hanna in a free interactive workshop featuring watercolour and collage today, July 29, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Muriel Arnason Library. Found Art
Langley Arts Council is accepting submissions for our Art In Found Spaces Exhibition. This program places Langley artwork throughout unusual and public venues in Langley. They are looking for artwork across disciplines, including sculpture and music. For more info call 604-534-0781.
It’s Critical
Arts Critiques take place the last Monday of each month, from 7-9 p.m. at the City of Langley Library. Are you developing your talents as an artist, but feel like you could use some constructive feedback? Bring a piece of your art to be discussed and interpreted by your fellow participants, as well as by an experienced artist facilitator in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Write Stuff
Every third Thursday of the month, a small group meets over coffee at the library. They are members of the Murrayville Library Writing Group.
While some are just beginning to write creative fiction, others already have a novel or two under their belts.
Members get together to offer and receive feedback about members’ writing and share information about workshops, courses and conferences as well as tips about how to get published. Call the library at 604-533-0339.
