Getting set for Relay
Langley’s Relay for Life event doesn’t take place until May 28, but fundraising to support the Canadian Cancer Society event has already started. Langley Relay for Life chair Howie Vickberg (left) joined staff from Total Fitness, Jo-Ann Broda, Leah Ruppel, Josie Klyne and Ed Hogarth, to place a fundraising barrel in their facility. Barrels can be found at several other sponsors in the community. In its five years, Langley’s Relay for Life has raised $1.75 million. To register early, see www.cancer.ca/relay or call 604-533-0822.
