Her fellow workers are hosting a benefit/music night for her on Tuesday (Sept. 30) at McBurney's Coffee and Tea House, 20504 Fraser Highway in downtown Langley City.

This gathering will also feature original contemporary aboriginal music, perhaps some poetry reading, and a couple of surprises.

The benefit, coffee and music night runs from 7 to 9 p.m.

The original music of Eli Bryan Nelson will be featured. All money collected will go into a trust fund to help Gabriel,a member of the Kwantlen First Nation, whose home was destroyed by fire.
