Education, career fair Dec. 1 at Tradex

If you are looking for a job, want to meet with different employers from various sectors or want to learn how to make yourself more marketable in the pool of job seekers, the Fraser Valley Job Fair will be an ideal event to attend.
This one-day event will be held at Tradex in Abbotsford on Tuesday, Dec. 1.
With a wide range of information available, the Fraser Valley Education and Career Fair/Job Fair is an invaluable source of information and contacts for those seeking jobs or looking to change careers. Adult learners and people choosing post-secondary institutions can also benefit.
The fairs allow attendees the opportunity to interact with exhibitors who are representing a wide range of careers, employment and higher education opportunities in a trade show format.
Participants will find representatives from a variety of industries ranging from esthetics to financial planning to trades who are there to to provide information about their about their industries and what it takes to excel within each.
Post-secondary institutions, government agencies, organizations and professional associations from throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as other nations will be available to discuss important information regarding the selection and admission process.
Attendees will also gain access to seminar sessions presented by industry professionals in two seminar areas: trades and technology and career options.
Seminars are 30 minutes long and cover some of the post popular and in-demand careers in the labour market.
