Langley resident Myrna Webster has been re-elected to the board of Envision Financial credit union in recent board elections.

Also elected were Don Murray of North Delta, David Letkemann of Abbotsford and Henry Jansen of Chilliwack.

“Serving on Envision’s board of directors requires leadership, business acumen, vision, and integrity,” says Envision Financial president and CEO Gord Huston. “Don, Myrna, David, and Henry have a history of guiding Envision toward financial strength while enhancing our organization’s reputation of exceptional member-owner service and good corporate citizenship.”

Webster has been a member of the credit union for over 30 years. First elected to the board of directors of Delta Credit Union in 1984, she served nine years, including six years as board chair.

Over that time she has served on every board committee. She is currently chair of Envision’s corporate citizenship and member relations committee and sits on the audit and governance committees.

She is also vice chair of the education partnership committee of Envision and chair of the Delta School District committee. She and her husband Kent live in Langley.

“Being member-owned is a key factor in distinguishing credit unions from banks,” says Huston. “Our member-owner’s ability to vote for board members ensures confidence in Envision’s leadership.”

Each of the four directors has been elected to serve a three-year term on Envision’s board.
