Rich Coleman is defending Jordan Bateman, the president of the Fort Langley-Aldergrove Liberal Riding Association, after Bateman called for the resignation of Finance Minister Colin Hansen.

Bateman, a Langley Township councillor, became embroiled in a controversy on Thursday when he called for Hansen to resign over the government's insistence that it had not considered the HST before the May, 2009 election.
