Updated: September 17, 2009 11:52 AM
The 30th anniversary of the Country Celebration fair takes place this Saturday and Sunday at Campbell Valley Regional Park in South Langley.
The fair features an old-time country fair atmosphere with the sights, sounds and smells of country living. There will be roving performers, horse-drawn wagon rides and a chance to make a kite, as well as a children’s area and knitting and spinning demonstrations.
A new feature this year is a Sunday morning pancake breakfast, which will cost $2 per child and $5 per adult. Proceeds will go to the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club.
The fair will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the regional park.
