'Nickel and diming' the taxpayer to move out

I moved to Langley City 38 years ago... it was a wonderful little town full of friendly people and I had just bought the "old" Mr Mike's" restaurant in Highland Village.
We, the merchants, pretty much all knew one another and gladly supported each other's businesses and shared the same customers... a pretty special time!
Today I still live in Langley but in the Township and venture into Langley City at my own peril. Several times in the past couple of months I have been patronizing Langley City businesses with friends and have seen the money-grubbing parking enforcement "officials" infuriate all of us off with their overzealousness! Does Langley City not make enough "sin tax" from their casino?
I don't patronize White Rock any more because of their similar tactics and have just about had it with Langley City's "nickel and dime" way of doing business - $15 parking tickets must be very annoying to a lot more than just me ?
