A complaint about open drug dealing at a busy parking lot led police to discover a car full of stolen goods, drugs and a credit card duplicating machine on Nov. 4.

Around 1 p.m., Langley RCMP located the vehicle the two suspects were in at a parking lot at 204 Street and Fraser Highway.

A 37-year-old man and 22-year-old woman, both from Surrey and well known for property crimes, were removed from the vehicle while police did a search.

During the search, numerous items were located that are commonly stolen during break-ins — GPS units, cellphone chargers, golf clubs, drills, and saws. Also found in the vehicle were numerous credit cards, a credit card duplicating machine, jewelry (price tags still attached) and a key ring with over 40 vehicle keys on it. A fanny pack inside the vehicle contained drugs believed to be crack cocaine, said police.

Police have been successful in returning much of the property to the rightful owners. The investigation is ongoing.
