Street party for Ryan’s homecoming
Ryan Gray spells out words by pointing to a 'paper typewriter' as his mother Terry reads his responses. It's the only way he can communcate as he can only 'mouth' words at this point.

Everyone is ready for Ryan Gray’s move back into his Aldergrove home on Friday, September 18.
Countless volunteers and donors have pitched in to make the suburban home wheelchair-friendly for the young man who almost died from serious head injuries when his work truck struck a moose in B.C.’s north almost two years ago.
It’s going to be a major street party, said Ryan’s mother Terry.
“On September 18 we’ll have a big party for him at 26450 - 33 Avenue, and there are so many people who are coming it’ll spill out onto the street,” said Terry.
Ricky’s restaurant, Costco and Tim Hortons will be serving goodies for the guests, there will be children’s activities and a band will perform a few tunes for the partiers.
Guests are asked to arrive by 4 p.m. to greet Ryan, and The Aldergrove Star and CTV will be recording the event.
