Although it’s her second to last month of duty as Langley’s top cop, Supt. Janice Armstrong still manages to arrest the bad guys.

Nearly two weeks ago, Armstrong was heading to a meeting when she heard over her police radio that a blue pickup truck had been stolen and the driver was heading north off Fraser Highway on 232 Street.

“I looked in front of me and there was the truck, right there,” said Armstrong. “Sometimes we can be in the right place at the right time.”

She followed the stolen truck and called in for reinforcements.

Police managed to stop the truck and the accused inside was a very familiar face in Aldergrove’s criminal scene.

“We arrested a very prolific offender,” said Armstrong.

He is currently in custody awaiting his next court appearance.
