Langley 4H members filled the Shannon Hall in Cloverdale on Friday night for the Langley District Senior Council's annual banquet and awards presentations.

Following a sumptuous roast beef dinner prepared by Otter Co-op, the following awards were presented to the top achievers in Langley District 4H.

The District Rally project placings, sponsored by Langley District Senior Council, started with the Junior Judging Top 10. The winners are: 10th Ashley Gilliland, 9th Riley Smith & Rebecca VanNoort, 8th Nicole Schmidt, 7th Sean Hope, 6th Carissa Jansen, 5th Sarah Douglas, 4th Brianna Anderson, 3rd Carmen Ridley, 2nd Michele Bos, 1st Amy Sprangers.

The Senior Judging Top 10 are: 10th Ruby Rae Rogowski, 9th Anna Douglas, 8th Alicia Tremolada, 7th Tiana Beirnes & Heidi Wilson, 6th Laura Willkinson, 5th Veronica Ridley, 4th Sabrina Anderson, 3rd Alexander Lee, 2nd Erin Croutch, 1st Rachel Lee.

Winner of Junior Showmanship, sponsored by Langley Animal Clinic, is Ashley Gilliland, and Senior Showmanship was shared by Heidi Wilson and Johanna Walker.

Winner of Junior Citizenship, sponsored by Otter Co-op, was Elizabeth Froc, and Senior Citizenship, sponsored by Langley Agriculture Association was Naylene Biernes.

Winners of Junior Public Speaking, sponsored by Royal Bank & Langley Agriculture Association: 3rd Rebecca VanNoort, 2nd Marcus Barichello, 1st Sarah Douglas. Senior Public Speaking winners were: 3rd Anna Douglas, 2nd Laura Wilkinson, 1st Garrett Steeple.

Winners of Junior Demonstrations, sponsored by Scotia Bank and Langley Agriculture Association, were: 3rd Brianna Anderson and Teagan Johnstone, 2nd Michelle Bos and Carmen Ridley, 1st Ashley Gilliand and Sean Hope. Senior Demonstrations winners were: 3rd Heidi Wilson and Alicia Tremolada, 2nd Tiana Beirnes and Amy Sprangers, 1st Jessie Stromberg-Smith and Tamara Marlikowski.

Leader Recognition Awards, sponsored by B.C. 4H Provincial Council, included: 5 year recognition to Steve Beirnes, Patsy Beaman, Ginette Bourages and Brian Anderson, and 10 year recognition to Pat Muench.

The 10 Year Members awards, sponsored by Langley District Senior Council, went to Kathleen Beaman and Johanna Walker, and 5 year Members awards went to Lesley Annett, Tori Preddy, Dustin Annett, Benjamin Macadam, Chelsea Price, Sharon O'Grady, Tiana Beirnes and Sara Sprangers.

Program Pins, sponsored by Langley District Senior Council, went to Garrett Steeple, Erin Croutch and Naylene Biernes.

District Table Decoration Award, sponsored by Junior Council, went to Otter Lamb & Swine Club.

Awards for Educational Display, sponsored by Aldergrove Agriculture Association, went to Juniors: 3rd Riley Smith, 2nd Austin Arsenault, 1st Marcus and Jeremy Barichello and Spencer Pollock, and Seniors: 3rd Tori Preddy, 2nd Gabriella Sauer, 1st Colton Hawkins.

The District Treasurer Award, sponsored by Aldergrove Credit Union, went to Rachel Wilkinson. The District News Reporter Award, sponsored by The Langley Times, went to Michelle Bos. The District Secretary Award, sponsored by Aldergrove Agriculture Association, went to Brianna Anderson.

There were two winners of the Langley Agriculture Association scholarship: Jordan Palowski and Anna Douglas. The Langley District Senior Council bursary winner was Erin Croutch. The Langley District Junior Council scholarship winner was Erin Croutch.

The Friesen Equipment Award winner was Ashley Gilliland. The Aldor Acres Award winner was Sean Hope. The Barichello Award winner was Amy Sprangers. The Alice McKay Award winner was Michelle Bos. The Langley Centennial Trophy winner was Rachel Lee. The Keith Beadle Award winner was Johanna Walker. The CIBC Award winner was Anna Douglas. The BC Hydro Award winner was Heidi Wilson.
