“Its been good, thanks to my old customers. They’ve been a good help and supportive,” said Do.
To gain new customers Do is relying on word of mouth. She is very proud of the customer service she provides. She tries hard to be respectful of her clients and she enjoys talking with them.
Do said that she is continually trying to update herself and improve on ways that she can better serve her clients.
“I love making people feel better about themselves,” Do said.
It isn’t just hair styling that she specializes in, she also offers pedicures, manicures, threading and a host of other treatments.
Another aspect Do is proud of is her informative nature; she likes to talk to her clients about hair care and how to duplicate the styles.
Do is also interested in hosting birthday parties for children and girls’ day out parties.
When asked why she wanted to stay in Aldergrove the answer was easy.
“I’ve been working here for a while. I wanted to continue serving Aldergrove, it is a nice town. I love people from Aldergrove,” said Do.
This is Do’s first salon and she is currently the only person working but she hopes to have a helper in the near future. -Chantelle Bowles

FREYBE GOURMET FOODS LTD. has once again proven that its products are among the best in the world. At this year’s DLG (German Agricultural Society) Quality Competition in Germany – one of the most respected competitions in the food industry – the Gloucester Industrial Estates based producer of fine ham, sausage and specialty deli meats was awarded 15 gold medals and one bronze in recognition of the company’s extraordinary gourmet deli products.
Approaching its milestone 165th anniversary, Freybe Gourmet Foods has received more than 600 international medals to date – 407 of which were gold – for its vast selection of more than 160 savoury delicacies. This family-owned company continues to demonstrate its enduring dedication to quality.
“Reaching such great heights of international recognition brings increased pride to our family business,” said company president Henning Freybe. “It means a great deal to pass down our family traditions from one generation to the next while continuing to grow and excel as a successful business.”
Understanding that the longevity of any company is dependent upon the calibre of its team, Freybe Gourmet Foods lends much of its success to its dedicated associates – their employees now total more than 400 and serve customers across Canada, the United States, Mexico and Japan.
The first North American company to declare its core-based products both gluten and lactose free, Freybe Gourmet Foods’ award-winning delights are also 100 per cent meat products.
“The success and achievement of Freybe Gourmet Foods is a true testament to the level of dedication and strength of values that are instilled in this company generation after generation,” said company vice-president Sven Freybe.
