KVR takes the Express lane to South Zone Championships

The KVR grade 8 boys volleyball team had a great season that culminated with a South Zone championship. With only two losses to a grade 8 team all season, KVR swept through the South Zone finals defeating Summerland in the semis 25-9, 25-11 and then Oliver in the finals 25-8, 25-15. At a local tourney the week before, KVR came out victorious defeating Skaha Lake and Kalamalka in straight sets. Pen High coach Paul Mend is quite excited to have these athletes coming to Pen High next year as they will make up the nucleus of the Grade 9 team next year.
