Richmond’s Katie Miyazaki contributed six steals to help the Simon Fraser University Clan women’s basketball team record its 40th straight win Saturday, defeating Brandon Bobcats 102-43 to go to 5-0 on the season.
Miyazaki, a Hugh Boyd Secondary graduate, also had 11 points and pulled down four rebounds in 19 minutes of playing time for the nation’s No. 1-ranked team.
