Richmond and the

Connaught Skating Club will

be well-represented at this

week’s BC/Yukon Skate Canada

Sectional Championships on

through Sunday at Minoru

Arenas.

More than 225 athletes will

participate for a chance to

qualify for the Western and

Canadian championships

later this season.

Scheduled to represent

Connaught are: Pre-Juvenile—

Danielle Gordon, Vanessa Lee,

Amy Li, Karin Shein, Evette

Ye, Angus Chan and Evan

Mak; Juvenile—Eurwen Seto

and Kurtis Schreiber; Juvenile

Dance—Dale Kilgour; Pre-

Novice—Jacqueline Chan,

Liza Shein, Karina Tjew, Shawn

Cuevas and Mitchel Gordon;

Novice—Tianna Brammer,

Leanne Butler, Siaw Yee Chew,

Julie Gordon, Belvina Mao

and Kurtis Hori; and Senior—

Alanna De Mello.

Admission is $10 for an adult

event pass and $5 for a oneday

pass. Children under six
