Christina Spence Proteau added another championship to her golf resume – the second in one week.

Spence Proteau defeated Canadian junior girl’s champion Soo-Bin Kim of Port Coquitlam to take the B.C. Women’s Amateur title at the Canoe Creek golf course in Salmon Arm.

Both players finished the 72-hole event at 5-over par. Spence Proteau shot for a 2-over 74, while Kim ended with an even-par 72.

It was a double win for the 26-year-old local lawyer. She won the B.C. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship on Thursday.

Spence Proteau will join team B.C. and play in next month's Canadian Amateur in Moncton, N.B

Previously, she won B.C. Women’s Amateur in 2006.
