Friesen, McLeod win Sunnydale titles

Crystal Friesen shot a low gross score of 180 to capture the Sunnydale 2017 club champion title at the two-day tournament on the last weekend of August. Ann McLeod won the trophy for low net winner.

Nancy Riva was first low gross with 88 and Anne Patterson earned first low net honours with a 72 at Comox Golf Club ladies night Sept. 12. Monica Yoo had the fewest number of putts with 28. Patterson had the longest putt at no. 3/12, and Val Pearce had the longest putt on no. 8/17. Linda Verdenhalven and Phyllis Taylor had chip-ins.
