Langley Thunder defender Brett Mydske has been named to the Western Lacrosse Association all-star team.

Mydske won the Gord Nicholson Trophy as the WLA's top defender in both 2012 and 213. He was also the league's unsung hero award winner in 2011.

The Thunder went 7-11 in 2014 and missed the post-season.

Mydske was the lone player from a non-playoff team to make the six-player all-star team.
