Bahnman, Thiessen winners

The four-day Fraser Valley Junior Golf Tournament came to a close on Aug. 8. First place overall went to 16-year-old Nathan Bahnman who shot a tournament total score of 274 for two under par. Mitchell Thiessen, 15, took second overall with his 285 on the scorecard, and also nabbed top spot in his age division. There were a totla of 29 golfers who participated between the ages of 11 and 17 at courses throughout the Chilliwack area.

Bailie’s body is best

Chilliwack bodybuilder Caitlin Bailie (see “She’s a Mover, Shaker…” July 24, 2014 Times), won her pro card in the overall fitness category at the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) international events qualifier Saturday, Aug. 9.
