Hawrys scores with Adanacs

Former Armstrong Shamrock Brett Hawrys is one win away from clinching the best-of-five Western Canadian Final with the Coquitlam Adanacs of the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League.

The Adanacs dusted the Calgary Mountaineers 13-6 in Game 2 Friday night at the Coquitlam Sports Centre.

Hawrys has been productive in the series with a goal in each game.

The Adanacs doubled the Mountaineers 14-7 in Game 1 Thursday night at the Coquitlam Sports Centre.

Game 3 went Saturday night. The winner advances to the Minto Cup, Aug. 16, at the Langely Events Centre.
