Reaume crashes in Nationwide stock car race in Iowa

Seven didn't prove to be a lucky number for Josh Reaume at the Iowa Speedway last weekend.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series rookie, whose parents still live in Highlands, blew his right front tire and crashed on the 79th lap of the U.S. Cellular 250 on Aug. 2. It was his seventh race of the season driving for the Rick Ware team. He finished 33rd overall and collected $19,390 for the team in prize money.

Reaume later Tweeted, "Well that sucks! Guys worked hard just had too many laps on the tires. Disappointed we crashed and didn't get so much as a mention on tv!"
