VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Canucks have signed centre Jared McCann to an entry-level contract.

The 18-year-old McCann played last season with the Ontario Hockey League's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, where he finished second on the team in goals (27) and points (62) in 64 games.

The London, Ont., native was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round, 24th overall, of the 2014 NHL draft.
