Vernon pair named to freestyle squad

Canada’s freestyle ski association has announced its 2014-15 roster, and a pair of Vernon athletes have made the squad.

Justin Dorey, who finished 12th at the Sochi, Russia Olymics in February in the men’s halfpipe, is joined on the team by Penticton’s Matt Margetts, Mike Riddle of Sherwood Park, Alta., Simon d’Artois of Whistler and Calgary’s Kris Atkinson and Noah Bowman.

 

Noah Morrison of Vernon was named to the Canadian men’s slopestyle team along with Ontario’s Evan McEachran and Quebec’s Alex Beaulieu-Marchand and Alex Bellemare.
